What this covers
Catering for hundreds of guests, from kitchens built for thousands.
A hundred covers strains a restaurant kitchen. It does not strain one that produces more than 7,000 meals a day, which is what our kitchens in Abu Dhabi Industrial City do before your order is added.
Large service is a logistics question as much as a cooking one: hot-holding, transport, serving lines that keep a queue moving, and enough of our own staff on the floor. Tell us the head count and the venue, and the plan comes back costed per head.

رغم إن طلبنا كان في آخر لحظة، كانوا متعاونين بشكل استثنائي وتواجدوا من الصبح لتجهيز كل شي قبل وصول ضيوفنا
I reached out to them and Ahmed immediately responded to my enquiry.
Planning catering for 100 or 200 guests
A large guest count needs more than a menu. Share the number of guests, venue, event date and serving window so our team can plan quantities, delivery and service together. Tell us whether you need a buffet, plated meal or another format, and whether guests will eat at once or in separate sittings. Include allergies and dietary requirements in the first brief. We will confirm the menu, service arrangements and availability in your tailored proposal.
Gala dinners, exhibitions and large gatherings
The event programme shapes the catering plan. For a gala dinner, share the welcome time, meal service and any speeches. For an exhibition, describe the expected guest flow, access times and whether food is for guests, exhibitors or staff. Include venue loading restrictions, equipment and serving requirements. If the event is at short notice, make the deadline clear so the team can check what is practical before a booking is confirmed.
Separate guest totals from catering service windows
List each eating occasion separately in your event brief, such as welcome refreshments, the main meal and a later break. Beside each one, give the expected number eating, its start and finish time, the service format and any dietary meals needed. State whether organisers, exhibitors and crew are included in those figures or need a separate meal arrangement. When the same guests attend more than one service, explain that overlap rather than using the total registration count as the quantity for every meal. The catering team can then review the menu and quantities for each service and confirm the agreed scope in the proposal.
Answers
Plan your catering with confidence.
What details are needed for a large-event catering proposal?
Send your event date, venue, guest count, serving schedule, preferred menu or food style, dietary requirements and setup or serving needs. Dana Prime will confirm availability and the agreed arrangements in a tailored proposal.
Can the guest count change after I request a proposal?
Tell the team about changes as soon as possible. A revised guest count can affect the menu, quantities, staffing, delivery and quote. The team must confirm the updated plan before you rely on it.
What guest count should I send for an event with several meal services?
Send an expected count for each meal or refreshment service and identify which services include the same guests. List organiser or crew meals separately if they are outside the guest count, and include dietary meal numbers for the relevant service. Dana Prime can use that breakdown to review the catering requirements and confirm quantities and arrangements in the proposal.
Next step
Tell us the date. We will take it from there.
Share your event type, head count and date. Our team replies with a tailored menu and quote, and a complimentary tasting before you commit.

In good
company.
